In Hospital/ Going Home Support
A‑Class Senior Care provides gentle, person‑centered hospital and transitional support for seniors and their families in Windsor, Essex County, Tecumseh, and LaSalle. Our role is to walk beside you during a stressful time, helping things feel a little less overwhelming and a lot more supported.
When a loved one is in the hospital, it can be hard to be there as much as you’d like. We offer one‑to‑one support for seniors admitted to local hospitals, working alongside hospital staff while looking out for the senior’s comfort and the family’s peace of mind. We pay attention to physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs throughout the stay, always keeping the person—not just the diagnosis—at the center.
Some of the ways we help include:
Gently encouraging safe movement, participation in simple self‑care, and staying involved in daily routines as they are able.
Noticing changes in how someone is thinking, feeling, or behaving, and sharing concerns with the care team so they’re addressed early.
Helping with meals, fluids, comfort, and pain strategies as directed, and making sure families understand medication routines and care plans.
Offering calm, reassuring company, orientation, and regular updates to both seniors and families to ease worry and reduce anxiety.
We’re here for families living in Windsor, Tecumseh, LaSalle, and surrounding Essex County communities. Support can be arranged at Windsor Regional Hospital (Met and Ouellette campuses), Hôtel‑Dieu Grace Healthcare, Erie Shores HealthCare, and other local facilities. This local focus makes it easier to keep care consistent—from hospital, back home, and into the community.
Going home after a hospital stay can bring relief—and new worries. We stay involved during the discharge process to help create a smooth, safe transition back home or into another care setting in Windsor‑Essex, Tecumseh, or LaSalle. Our goal is to make home feel safe and manageable again, for both seniors and their families.
This may include:
Help with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and safe transfers.
Support with medications—organizing reminders, assisting with pharmacy pick‑up, and helping keep to the prescribed schedule.
Preparing simple, nutritious meals, offering gentle reminders to drink fluids, and encouraging safe movement, exercise (as directed), and fall‑prevention strategies around the home.
Arranging and accompanying transportation to follow‑up appointments, tests, and community services.
Everything we do is tailored to each person and each family. The aim is to make recovery feel calmer and more supported, and to lessen the chance of setbacks or avoidable trips back to the hospital—so you can focus more on being family, and less on managing everything alone.
